Cape Cod aerobatics is still IMHO the best ever "pass-by". Despite Mojave I cannot recollect any USAAF or USN field - not even on the Tallahassee Sub or on Surfliner. If I have missed a big airfield anywhere (French route?) please post so I can check it out. Pic above is West Point route running one from Cats Clawson's excellent activities pack after swapping in steamers, position just east of Montgomery.

EDIT: UFOs? try Monon (around Bloomington) or Dogskill.
