I have trolleys in my blood. Like Tim Muir my grandfather worked for the trolley company, in this case the Baltimore Transit Company and he retired at the same time they retired the trolleys and trackless trolleys in favor of the stinky old busses. The result has been that I, along with shortlines like trolleys, and in particular interurban lines like the long gone Hagerstown & Frederick railway.

Up until this point in time there have not been to many trolley routes available. The last really detailed route was Wayne Campbell's L&PS. Of course down the road is Tim's PET route that I know we are all waiting anxiously for. Right now it looks like the long dry spell is nearing its end in a few months in the form of Paul Charland's Springfield Terminal that the thread below show some very interesting progress shots of. Then there is the NHT route that Bobbie is working on and that is also progressing nicely. Below are some recent shots of the latest beta on that route and personally I am looking forward to both.

Looks very good Paul - Paul is doing an amazingly quick job on it.

How are framerates - Unfortunately I have found the FJ&G a bit of a killer on my rig - a lot of transfers, and they do seem to have a framerate impact.

Looking forward to seeing some more of Paul's work (and your fine shots  )

Rod,

The shots above are not on Paul's STC but rather Bobbie's NHT. I have found the frame rates on both to be very acceptable, even with the super detailed trees I have substituted (2mb .ace files each).

Those trolleys were nice. Unfortunately, the people don´t like to preserve the history. But in Train Simulator we like to drive any kind of vehicle, even if that train does not exist anymore
