While not all here like contemporary diesel locomotives, the Cascades is one of the few trains that use a unique trainset as well as a striking paint scheme. Myself and a few friends have taken pride to capture this unique train. One by one we have began to do the entire Amtrak Cascades fleet. "Talgo" TP200 trainset 'Mt. Adams' is near completion, AMTK 465 is done, and AMTK 90250 is on the horizon.

Is this going to be freeware? I don't recognize the creator's name, so I figured I'd ask. I've got a sneaking suspicion that the motive power will require the late Surfliner though, won't it?

Yes, and because of that fact I may not release it...unless *yells - Marc?* The Talgo trainset may not be released to the public per an email from the author when I asked permission.

Wait, I just remembered that the Surfliner trainset had been released separately---that might make a difference. It's very nice work, releasable or not.

Yeah. What well made this so easy is AMTK 465 was delivered as a Surfliner engine in Southern California. She was transferred to Washington two years ago I believe, and all they did was a color swap...which is all we did...now, for the other five units...that's a whole different story...
