Cascade Valley accepted CVR 0432 this morning, keeping in mind its roots. This engine is painted in a modern 'hybrid' of what its employee's thought SP&S would use for its paint scheme if it was still here today. With a modern variant of a venerable railroad, each of these units will be named after each of the people that helped make the SP&S what it was, and the people that made CVR what it is. Each of these units are the pride and joy of the CVR, keeping in mind the men and woman that make up the substance of a workhorse, railroad, and our rich history. I humbly present this to Tim Muir, a mentor to me whom shares my interest in the Spokane, Portland, and Seattle Railway.

It's beautiful! And I'm honored! I'm not a fan of this modern stuff, as most of you know, but I sure like this unit. Best-looking "what-ever-it-is" I've seen (I know nothing about anything newer than SD-40's ;) ).

Thanks, "Di-F"!

Don't think I haven't done that! Anyone here remember the SLW SP GP-9's with freight animation trolley poles I made a few years ago? ;) -well it was a very long time ago- done as a joke. I don't even have them anymore, nor a screen shot.
