MSTS Springfield Terminal Railway 8

STR 8 was a maintenance service line car until 1956 when the car was trucked to the Warehouse Point museum in Connecticut.

Requires MSTS BIN 1.7 or higher available at:

http://mstsbin.uktra...om/eng/eng.html

STR 8 is a Paul Charland model created using TS Modeler, along with several Tim Muir shapes and textures.

Thanks Rick,

Was fun to draw, was even better when it opened in MSTS without a fight!

Hi All,

I forgot to change the bounding box information in the engine file!

Here's a copy of the corrected file and I have changed the str_8.zip file in the library.

Attached File  STR_8.eng.zip (3.66K)
Number of downloads: 2

Sorry for any inconvenience,

Paul :-)

Paul,

Great car there, and thanks for keeping on top of things. In looking at the file you attached, it must be renamed before it can be used as it is named STR_8.eng.eng. Just a simple rename, but it isn't just a drag and drop.

Hi Paul,

Yes, just remove one of the ".eng" should do the trick, I needed to add one to make sure it wasn't going to overwrite the real "str_8" files. This is just a bounding box adjustment I missed, the car runs fine without this file, it may not couple so nicely though!

Paul :-)
