CV's newest pieces of power. SPS F3A 802. VNRY will become Cascade Valley Railway (CV) with the repaint of these two historic F's.

Cascade Valley is the newly reorganized VNRY...the VNRY is still alive, but by a new name...what's the saying? "A rose is just as sweet by any other name." These F's are just as sweet, lovely, and wondeful as when they rolled out of LaGrange in November 1948, SPS 802, and in January 1953, SPS 804.

 Beautiful photos! Is the new color scheme going to be related to the SP&S I worked so hard on?

Yes, matter of fact, all my engines will wear that scheme, including the AC4400CWCTEH's I have on order  Tim, I do think your work is awesome, and I left as much as possible untouched!

Great! What a heartwarming sight for a native PNW'er. I wish I spent more time at SP&S's trackside with a camera when I was ten or so!

Sure would be nice to have an ALCO FA in that scheme!

Here's a little history lesson <_< Today the crews wanted to teach the local elementary school about their local rail history. So, they got our CVR 501, 502 and TRBX 501, 502. The lesson was about how far we've come in locomotive design. Also, the comparison of two passenger models from the same 'bloodline'. The crews (Muir, its painter and engineer, Kelsey, the conductor, and Chile, the engineer for TRBX), all explained that the F59 on the left, was a result from the F3. The kids took to the F3 like candy! Talk about foaming! Thrity little-ones foaming and touching a piece of history! Well, with that, here's your turn :whistling: . I hope ya'll enjoy!

Tim, I can't stop foaming over these older F's...if only SP&S had booster units B)
