I believe the Seaboard Coast Line had one of the most diverse diesel rosters of any US road. Alcos, Baldwins, GE's, and EMD's all pretty much working together in the same time period, late 60's to early 70's.
The following pics are couple of old timers who are long gone from sunny, hot, Florida but certainly earned their keep while in service.

This is a Baldwin RS-12 that was blt in 1952 and belonged to SAL before the merger.

SCL 64 is a Baldwin DS-44-1000 from the SAL, blt 1950

Certainly, there are some inaccuracies in these fellows in regards to details, but, as they say "That'll do!!"
Now, has anyone seen a Doodlebug lately? :birthday:

Very Nice, I've started working on an SAL set that would go nicely with those units.....

Doodlebug? Hmm... :birthday:

Nice job on these old girls. Back in the 1970's a buddy of mine in the Navy was stationed in Jacksonville. He always made it down to the SCL yards on his days off and took many photos of these on the dead lines. Must've been 50 or 60, maybe more of the old Baldwins of various types. He sent me copies of everything he photographed along with a map he drew of the yards showing the locos' positions and road numbers. He brought back a brake gauge out of one of the DRS or DS-44-1000's, and an ACL medallion off another one.

Are you going to upload these here (I hope)?

Well, those certainly look nice; I've been meaning to get a small ACL/SAL/SCL fleet going, but haven't had much luck. Those'll be welcome additions. As for a BLW/ZT SAL set, do see if those oddball skylight lounge cars can be included.

This is a shot of Seaboard's version, it was a regular in service through the central part of FL and along the west coast also.

Sure, thanx for the interest, I have a few tweaks to finish on them.... perhaps within the next week!?!?

I do have a couple of decent shots. I'll be scanning them in soon.
