These are fabulous shots!

Another quantum leap forward for MSTS. Keep this up and the KRS group will want to downgrade to MSTS!

I am not going to ask you to divulge any Company Secrets :) ; not yet anyway.

How do your system's frame rates compare between the original areas and these that you have re-textured? Are there differences?

My system is very far from high end - It struggles a bit with WPFR with dynamic shadows around Oroville, Portola, & Keddie - all structures on this version of the A&O, where I have fiddled with it, now have dynamic shadows, including the telegraph poles in "built up" areas. I leave DS permanently on to test how my fps are going on the route.

Across this section, pre alterations, with a medium length consist of Gaetan's A&O stock (all stock items different) and 2 SLI Geeps, looking down the length of the consist I was getting around 30 to 32 fps. now getting 25 to 27 (everything within the sim maxed - 4xAA 8xAniso. You can see the results in terms of image quality in the closer shots - pretty reasonable. Look away from the consist and it is around 40+ fps, look forward over the 2 engines and it is around 30.

On my system I am happy with a high of over 25fps, particularly on this route which doesn't have much opportunity for heavy traffic. Looking to drop to no less than 20 fps, with static consists around, and I have generally achieved that.

Going to be interesting when I go back to Berryville as that was around the 20 to 25 fps with dynamic shadows - might have to be a bit more conservative there.
