I hope you guys can help me with this. For reference, I'm running ORNNYMG 172.2.

I have FINALLY finished the 50+ passenger cars for the ConnRiver 1955 Passenger Pack and I've built consists and added some motive power. To my shock and disappointment, the cab views for hood units (RS3, GP7) do not appear correctly as they did in MSTS.


First, the RS3. As you can see, the MSTS cabview has me inside and under the hood.




I fiddled around with the CVF positioning and I was able to get something close to a good position, but strangely, there is still some artifact of the Fanim shape in the left window.



Moving on to the GP7, the handrailing is in the side window. Strangely enough, the mirror image view on the left hand side shows the correct position.

I can go forward with this I suppose, but it will mean having two different ENG files referencing different cabviews for OR and MSTS. Is there another option? Please don't say drop MSTS, our customers still use it.

Are you sure this is NOT a default FOV artifact? Try playing with the FOV and see if that changes anything.

I had to change all my cvf files way back when. Pretty obvious when looking at the same SW1200RS in MSTS and then in OR.

I've now learned not to mess with the FOV values. Problem solved. Thanks, Steve and Paul!
