While running an activity in 171.1 I had created two save points, each one while waiting in front of a red signal. Now, a few days later I can't resume from either one, error message see attached log file. If necessary I can also attach the exported save file if that helps to analyze the issue.

Greetings, Peter

I have the route. Where did you download the activity?

I've downloaded the activity, but it has an enormous amount of trainsets which must be downloaded. I only tried to start a train in explore in activity mode using the player train path, and tried to make some save/resume, and I didn't get crashes. Clearly it's a case much simpler than yours, but I can't go further, and only from the logfile I don't get enough info to find out the bug. i'll verify if there is a possibility to provide you a patched ORNYMG that can log further info at the moment of the crash, but I don't know if we will proceed enough this way.

Hello Carlo,

I understand your testing situation, and I'm absolutely fine with that. If I interpret the error message correctly, it happens while trying to determine the signal status of the moment when the save set was created. I assume the large number of trains running simultaneously might be a contributing factor. I did some reruns of that activity, both in auto pilot and manual mode, and I have always ended up in some holdup at a stop signal, caused by trains running ahead of the player train.

If I'm able to reproduce the error I will add more information to this thread.

Greetings, Peter

Hi Peter,
Our friend Hehl has fixed some bugs in Dennis Kunz's Signal version 1.1b (April 7, 2012), since Rogue also encountered issues when building OR_MA-KA. So you could try experimenting with the Signal files sigcfg.dat and sigscr.dat from OR_MA-KA in Wuppex12. But be sure to back everything up first—it might not work at all.

Gruß Jan
