Carlo, when I recently built NYMG on my PC in Visual Studio, VS notified me that NYMG was targeting .NET 6.0 (at least, I think it was 6.0, wow we are out of date), which I did not have installed despite doing builds of regular OR. I guess that's not intentional, but it would mean that everyone using NYMG would also need to download a different version of .NET than official releases need.

Thanks Phillip, I had a check and indeed ORNYMG Multiplayer Server requires .Net 6.0, while the official OR versions require for the Multiplayer Server.Net 5.0 (which by the way Visual Studio flags as out of support).
I will now downgrade from .Net 6.0 to 5.0 for compatibility.

Hello, I'm writing to you about a problem I encountered in timetable mode: a train refused to move forward, and this message appeared in the OpenRailsLog.

Information: Train MV_WQWI 06:POOL_MC (1225) : Looped at 1787

The full log is below.

So I went back in the timetable to understand this "loop," and it turns out the train is coupled earlier in the timetable to another train, but when the coupling is complete, the train reverses direction until it reaches the switch and then remains stable until its activation time. I tried starting the timetable for this train at the moment of its activation, and that's exactly what happens. So I tried reversing, then switching to manual mode and back to automatic, and that works. But the main problem is that during coupling, the train is supposed to go into stable mode, but it doesn't; it reverses. I don't know why.
Coupling

I believe that this behaviour has nothing to do with the "looped" information, which seems to be related with another train.
Do you have the same behaviour with the official OR versions? If yes, this is more something which belongs to the timetable subforum; if not, let's see if and how to proceed.

I see that the program faulting is Openrails.exe. You could try starting directly with Menu.exe.

With the official versions, I've noticed that the trains also reverse after coupling, but the subsequent locking issue isn't present.
I've also observed that some trains are
OUT_OF_PATH
which isn't the case in the official version.

I remember reading something in one of the ORMG threads about being able to use .png textures in game.
Is this true, and can you elaborate please.
