Some equiptment for the route would be fantastic. I do already have the DMIR 192 and 316 already for Open Rails but they are not publicly available. I do have some older DMIR Ore cars as well but we could use use some new content for DMIR. I have thought about building the DMIR 332 and possible a yellowstone in the future but I have so much on my plate that it would be awhile before I even got to it.

Hello
Thanks for the fix engmod
Cleanup: meant 3d MAX not GMAX. Autodesk was local & knew enough people to maybe get a free/cheap copy but going with Blender instead.
Great Photos from first class. Can't resist photo interpretation since was my first job. please excuse.
First Class pictures: Top is Yellowstone. They had 4 class M3 and 10 class M4 steam. Number could be 228 OR 229, A class M4 (1943-1963).
Maybe the one on display at Proctor MN. That would be nice.
Middle picture is also Yellowstone with 15 u class cars, which are shorter than coal cars since ore is much heaver then porous coal. Look like they are heaping full. Good to know to get load weight for physics calculation. I have a piece of ore from Tower mine I'll use as cubic weight basis calculation. Who knows cubic weight of taconite.
Bottom pic is D&IR #91 2-8-0 renumbered DM&IR #191 (1905-1962), They had 9 of them for 47 years.
Brandon pictures Thanks. I will make these cars since I know the colors.
Except the Two Yellowstones. Beyond my ability to make the shape and cabview not to mention a big steam .eng file that might work.
maybe later. There are three preserved up north. is this two of them.
Started on Yellow Caboose C-205 (1952-1975). Sold 2000 to NSM - now LSRM. Already reworking an old one I made of Tommy Smothers ATSF red caboose in Sausalito. It is said he lived there but never saw life activity even when snooping for car details.
Can't read number on passenger car but certainly #33 1918 ACF built Originally D&IR now at LSRM in DN&IR brand.
Finally, #193 EMD sd-18 can't see number on second one. Built 1960 donated to LSRM 1998. Best part is the clean color a little redder than UofM Gopher maroon or MN State Patrol car Maroon. Note Painted U class cars or is it red lead paint for anti-rust like the Golden Gate Bridge. Why use nice enamel on an ore car. Brandon's #192 is a saver. Maybe I should do an SD-9 since they had so many of them. AS for #332 and similar I am unfamiliar with SD-M and how it varies from sd-38 and 40. New to me. I'll put in queue.
I will make some U cars hoping to get the corner support pillars standing clear. As I remember it msts cant do pillars or pass-through shapes but can do windows. I dunno We'll see what happens.

the second DMIR SD18 behind the 192 is the 316 that the LSRM no longer has. I have some blueprints if you would like for the DMIR like freight and passenger cars.

If you are using Blender you will need the MSTS/ORTS Export plugin available here:
https://github.com/p...S_ORTS_Exporter
Pete has also created the ORTS-CC-Notebook.pdf that will give you the information you need for creating MSTS/OR models.
HowToMake3Dcabs_v4.pdf has information if you are going to build those as well.
Both the above are available from:
https://github.com/p.../ebook-ORTSBCCN
Cheers,
Marek.
