The Data Logger currently uses hard-coded units for the train physics data. I am proposing to change that to use the units as configured in the general options. I am not very familiar with steam locomotives, and need some guidance on what units to use.

The general options are: metric, imperial US, imperial UK, route (units from the route), player's location (units the operating system uses).
There is a separate option for pressure: bar, psi, inHg, kgf/cm2, automatic (based on the units used in the cab view config).

Besides the above, the Data Logger will also support "internal". This indicates to use the units that the code uses, not doing any conversions. This is useful to compare captured data while actively debugging.

So, to the steam specific data in the data logger:

Parameter Internal Currently Proposed (based on setting) Question
ITE (Motive Force) Newton pound-force Newton / pound-force
IHP (hp) horsepower horsepower Watt / horsepower The name implies HP; should it always be HP, or PS for metric?
Drawbar TE (tractive effort) pound-force pound-force Newton / pound-force
Drawbar HP horsepower horsepower Watt / horsepower The name implies HP; should it always be HP, or PS for metric?
Coupler Force Newton pound-force Newton / pound-force
Loco+Tender Resistance Newton pound-force Newton / pound-force
