Hello all
I love the new Editor that Goku gave us.

I have been using it successfully for years now and a close friend here who is also very experienced who also loves and uses the Editor a lot has a new error showing up.

He has tried to run the editor with a number of routes and keeps getting this error and log: i will post both the message and the log, he uses an older system, 7.0 Is there or are there ways that things need to be adjusted to run it on older systems? We hope for help on this. thanks

Chris

That window style looks like XP.
I think it lacked dependanies.

Randy

XP was 32 bit and while there are a few 32 bit versions of TSRE mostly it was a 64 bit program.
There are 32 bit versions available on Goku's site.

XP64 was developed by AMD as the first 64 bit version.
Most people did not have enough memory to run it.

It was brought into our company as our architechs wanted more memory in our servers.

Hi Guys thanks for responding, TSRE has worked for years on 7.0 for my friend, for some reason just stopped working recently. here is another try on another route to make sure it was not just that one route that has issues.

Randy maybe he needs the 32 Bit version...can you give me Gokus Site address again? thanks a lot for that info!

I see some specific entries from TSRE maybe someone who konws those specific responses can maybe tell what may be wrong

thanks again for the posts.

Chris

Errors:
[I] /routes not exist: "C:/ts/routes"

Please look in the cerecent.txt ( TSRE Folder ) for this entry. If it exists, please delete this line.

[I] Sd Shape: not exist "C:/2MSTS/routes/Puzzle/shapes/PBWashingtonStMeth.sd"
[I] #SFile Animations - unknown token: 692899732
[I] #SFile Animations - unknown token: 1929391616
[I] Sd Shape: not exist "C:/2MSTS/routes/Puzzle/shapes/PBWHARTONSTORAGE.sd"
[I] #SFile Animations - unknown token: 0 error
[I] #SFile Animations - unknown token: 821798572
[I] #SFile Animations - unknown token: -806092887

Two sdFiles are missing. It is possible that the shapes for these two sdFiles are available but have errors in the animation.

It's possible that the wrong version of OpenAL is installed. There are very different requirements for 32 vs 64 bit.

Maybe try running v8 which is available at Trainsim.com/TSRE --- it has all of the prerequisites included in the zip file/folder, but is only available as 64 bit.
