I reinstalled TSRE v8.004 and the consist editor is not working. I have been having issues ever since I transferred OR to a new hard drive. The consist editor loads everything but crashing before fully opening. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My first guess is the clue in the last couple of lines of your log file
"[I] /routes not exist: "" "/routes"
[I] /routes not exist: "" "/routes"

make sure that you have the editor pointed at the content instal folder that contains the Routes, global and Trains folders, not the Trains or Trainset folder.

Last lines of LOG:
[I] #tr_activity_file - undefined token: "pickuptritemdata"
[I] #event - undefined token: "ortsactsoundfile"

ORTS coders,
Is "ortsactsoundfile" an ORTS defined parameter?

BJ7898,
Search your Routes folder for "ortsactsoundfile"

Which activity file(s) does it appear in?

Personally I just use Wordpad to edit .con files as well as .eng and .wag files.

Charles, it's an event within an activity....Here's an example from my Pacific Surliner Activity. When player train hits the "location" event, a .wav sound file is played. you can target the cab, where you only hear the sound if you are in the cab. (That's the way my activity is setup.) There are several places the sound can be heard, depending upon the setting in the activity file....

Here's my example...
EventCategoryLocation (
EventTypeLocation ( )
ID ( 5 )
Activation_Level ( 1 )
Outcomes (
ORTSActSoundFile ( 572-5.wav Cab )
)
Name ( 572-5 )
Location ( -12861 13997 -262.614 371.454 10 )
ORTSContinue ( 0 )
ORTSActSoundFile ( 572-5.wav Cab )
)

in my activity I used it to play sounds the engineer would hear over the radio...

Thanks for answering my question. I asked it because it is the last item in the TSRE log. Goku wrote TSRE to record what it was reading until an error occurred. So he could identify what item had a problem. Appears it occurred while reading an activity.
