Hi. I'm trying to use TSRE v0.8.004 to paint a new terrain texture, but when I click and drag on a terrain tile after loading the texture ("Texture: Load...") and clicking "Paint: Texture", nothing happens. So far, I haven't found any clear tutorial on how to paint terrain. Can you guys help me out?

Check your brush size and intensity settings. If they're too low, you won't notice the painting taking place.

Brush size is approximately the width in meters.

Intensity is an alpha setting. 1 is 99% alpha'd. Crank that up to 50% and you'll see more of the texture.

Here's a guide to some options involved in painting on terrtex patches. I need to get time to do a tutorial on painting, but this might help.

I'd like to see your tutorial, for one. Also the bit about changing paintbrush shapes, adding your own?

The brushes are easy! Here's where they go and what is in my brush collection. They are square png images, 64 pixel size.

Thanks, my friend. I remember you had spoken of this before, but I lost the post. :thumbup3:

I think I got it to work properly now. The brush settings are a little ambiguous to me -- in HeightMap mode they mean one thing, but in texture paint mode they mean something completely different!
