Good morning, Being always active in the world of Open Rails, especially in the construction of Routes and Activities, for some time, that is, since the Cruise Control command came out, I have always asked myself a question, that is, why it was not possible to create one script that can be implemented on diesel-powered rolling stock?
I realize this from the fact that up to now I have always operated on electric traction routes, therefore electric rolling stock already has both TCS and Cruise Control Scripts working..
But if I wanted to create something with diesel traction, I realize that in this area, they have remained behind as scripts..
So, I'm wondering, is there anything compatible or at least a way to make Cruise Control work on them?
Thanks for the reply..

Hello.
AFAIK, for basic cases, scripts are not needed - just insertion of parameters set in *.eng-file, according to Manual and sample locomotive's files, provided with testing version's documentation.
Sorry, if I misunderstood Your question.
I didn't test CC with diesel locos so far, however.

Hello.
UseThrottle ( True )
The UseThrottle ( True ) setting selects between electric and diesel locomotives. If set to true, it will be good for diesel locomotives.

HI! Thanks for the comprehensive reply.
At this point I would like to ask @Carlo Santucci if it is possible to carry out tests on an Italian Diesel Locomotive, to possibly test the stability with the Italian TCS script!
I know that in the past there have been conflicts between both functions on this rolling stock, therefore, since he is competent in the matter, I believe he can shed some light on this matter.
