With the recent 940 stable build, I get an immediate crash upon entering the sim and kicking into autopilot mode.

Had to revert back to 925.

Log mentions something about the 'MSTSLocomotiveUpdate'

Looks like this is related to a change meant to fix AI diesel mechanical trains. Since you have a diesel electric, the code breaks because it assumes the locomotive is mechanical when it is not.

Try installing the latest Unstable version (in a separate location), and see if the problem still occurs?

Unstable version did work (after the updater bombed on first attempt to update. Did a cold reboot and tried again)

If I press "Alt+A" (autopilot) after starting the program, the program crashes!

Same bug as this thread, update to build 942 which should have the fix.
