Hi everyone, I want to point out that Reshade has problems with the recent version, I tried to install 5.9.1 and 6.0 but it crashes the program, so I was forced to remove Reshade

Hi FS.E652 091, I'm using OR NewYear MG 151 with ReShade 6.0.1 applied to OpenRails64.exe DX10/11/12 with default settings/filters, all working fine here.

I always make sure to delete all reshade files from root folder which reshade uninstall can leave behind sometimes:
reshade-shaders - folder
ReShade.ini - ReShade.log - ReShadePreset.ini
dxgi.dll

After you first install ReShade to an OR installation executable --- It's possible to copy all the ReShade elements from one OR Monogame installation folder to a new one --- I don't believe you have to keep reinstalling it.

If this is not workable, someone clue me in --- ReShade works for me, and I have been copying from each Monogame version to the next one I download & use.

Items to copy are as follows:
1. ReShade.ini file
2. dgxi.dll file
3. reshade-shaders folder ( if kept in OR sim folder )
and your ReShade txt or ini file that specifies all the shaders and fx settings if you keep it in the OR sim folder.
You can specify a path to the ReShade preset >>>
CurrentPresetPath=C:\OpenRails\OR_ReShade_Parts\ORTS_Shade.ini ( my working path )

If you want to keep up with the newest version of ReShade I suppose you have to keep reinstalling it...I'm still using ReShade ver 4.7 -- found a mix of shaders and effects I like and stuck to it.

thanks everyone, I solved it by installing only the basic effects, probably some additional effects were causing problems!
