I tried the activities on my system with no problem. I noticed that he is running
Version = ORNYMG-Rev. 150.3.
Build = 0.0.8811.31732 (2024-02-15 17:37:44Z)
where I'm running 1.5.1. Has he tried the running it on Open Rails 1.5.1? I don't know if this is the issue or not but is something to try. Let him know that he can have both Open Rails 1.5.1 running on the same box, but I would not put them in the same director.

It looks like he is getting an Error: "Orts.Viewer3D.Processes.ThreadHangException: Thread 'Loader Process' has hung;". Since he is running the New Year version, someone working on it may be able to help.

As previous, he is running an Amd phenom, very old cpu.

That cpu is 16 years old.

Try 1.5.1

Mervyn,
the computer of your friend has been too slow in loading the route, and the watchdog has been triggered exiting OR. However, ORNYMG has a solution to that: your friend must go to the ORNYMG only options tab, and uncheck the "Watchdog" option, which is reported as checked in his logfile.

Hi Carlo

Thank you, watchdog had not occurred to me as a solution. I will pass that along and see what happens.

That fixed the problem.

Old the Phenom II may be, but it still manages to run OR at a reasonable FPS outside of tiles with high object counts
