Hi everyone!

I was thinking if anyone would be interested in helping me add a new token, called "ORTSBlinkFrequency()", that allows a "MultiStateDisplay" command flashing at a custom frequency in cab when added to the State() block of the MultiStateDisplay, in the .cvf file.


Something similar to the already existing "ORTSCycleTime" token, which controls the total time of the animation.


I've seen this topic, but the problem with using the Blink function is that the code has to be run every frame to keep updating the blinking status, so for my purpose it cannot be used.
Furthermore, it's a helper class so it must rely on a C# script, therefore it's not always usable.


I would be very happy if someone would like to help me implement this new feature which could be very useful to many others!

MSTS *.cvf-files syntax had such parameter, which still works with ORTS.
There is an example.

Thanks for the help, but I still can't comprend which one i need to use to make an indicator light blink...

There's a cab with flashing alerter lights, where that parameter was seen.

It's already possible to make a control blinking in cab, but the frequency cannot be changed... which is what I'm suggesting to add.

A token which can be added in the .cvf file, similar to ORTSCycleTime (), which allows you to change the frequency of the blinking by modifying only the section of a warning light in the .cvf, for example

I don't remember about adjustability of blinking frequency, so, sorry for false hope, in case it actually I adjustable now.
