You have mentioned the Y class from Victoria, Australia, that I spent my railway life climbing up and down on.

The readme goes into more detail, but any AC, BC, or C block can accept 645 power assemblies. Railroads often performed this retrofit as the 645 assemblies are more durable and it often eliminated the need to stock both 567 and 645 parts when the 40-series came out.

I believe Amtrak did this when rebuilding Their FL9's.
