1) In the version of OR that I am running (Open Rails MG ORNYMG-Rev.139), I cannot get 'F6' to display station and siding displays

I've been wanting to move subsets of those into a file tied to the activity so the player sees only what is relevant. I expect to wait a very long time.

BTW, congrats on the freedom of retirement but expect to have work dreams for the next 10 years. I believe the medical term for those is "Night Terrors". :pleasantry:

Next question (and now 5 weeks from retirement).

I was going to try my hand at activities. Before I do, my current version of TSRE is TSRE5 V0.69, so three questions:

1) What is the latest stable version

2) where do I find it, and...

3) is their an updated user guide to go with it?

Thanks!!

Rick

Rick, glad to hear you'll have more free time for that CNW set that's missing from your catalog... ;

250 days or 35 weeks until I hit the magic date. Not sure I'll push the button right away, but it's good to know I can...

1.) Latest ( and last ) version V0.7.012 by Goku is here >>> TSRE Homepage there's a link on the page to the archive where the programs are and explanations on installation and dependencies.

However: At TrainSim.com Eric has started a new branch of TSRE and is taking bug reports and adding features to the code.
Newest version is found in the download library >>> tsre5-v8.002.zip File ID 88621

2. Manual by Pete Willard is at GitHub >>> TSRE Manual

You should start to follow the TSRE development thread and bug thread at TrainSim.com --- very interesting progress. Have Fun. Gerry

edit: Trackviewer is necessary for paths, it will be a learning curve, but is worth it. Great for fixing paths, actually easy to use.Manual ( such as it is ) is found in the OR Documentation folder in the most current stable version 1.5.1

Hello.

Actually, all versions are stable.
If the downloaded tracks and vehicles are also stable, i.e. almost error-free. There are track errors and there are activity errors that he does not tolerate. Own experience. If it crashes, I don't blame TSRE, I blame myself and try to find the fault.

Sincerely, Laci1959

Well.... stable is relative. There are actions and settings that can crash TSRE but won't hurt your files.
