Gemma Saotomoe (lets call him "Dave") got on a discord call with me this past Sunday afternoon and explained a bit of the content structure in OpenRails.

Thanks to his assistance, I was able to drive in a 3D cab for the first time ever in OpenRails!

This was such an improvement over the flat cabs.

Each time I've gotten in a loco in open rails, one of the first things I naturally try to do is use the right mouse button to look around and to look out the side windows.

This doesn't work with flat cabs but it does work in the 3D cab and it made a world of difference!


Thanks to Gemma Saotomoe for the excellent tutorial and patience!

I also want to say that this whet my appetite for more content - now I've got the itch to collect more engines with 3D cabs!
