Hey everyone!

I was not sure where to post this but there is a new Train Simulator game in the works and wanted to show you guys what it is all about. Mainly focused on Narrow Gauge steam locomotives this looks like a fantastic looking game and one I am looking forward to trying out.

Now I am curious if the Open Rails team has thought of implementing any of these features into Open Rails as I think the game developers really have something going for them with some of the features they are going to be coming out with! For steam fans I think this will be an amazing game!

I really feel the Open Rails team needs to look at these videos along with other Train Simulator games like Train Simulator 20xx and TRAINZ and see if we can implement some of these features into Open Rails for the future! Like I have said before Open Rails is loosing ground when it comes to Train Simulators eye candy, features and other aspects that many other Train Simulator Games already offer. The one thing that Open Rails does have going for it is physics so I do give the ORMT props for that but like I have said before Open Rails could be so much more!

The ones working on this project are a much younger group and a few of them run real steam locomotives. They are also working on this project in there spare time and have a patrion account so I don't see why Open Rails couldn't start one as well to generate some Money to not only help out future features and possibly help with paying for the Open Rails website as well.

Thanks, Brandon.
There was a thread about those Hyce and 346 team, about a pair of month back on ET.
If You can - search for that, so You'll see discussion, which already have to had place.

My opinion in four words: these are two different worlds.

This one has my attention.

That it is narrow gauge and US based (i.e modeling US content and appliances)... is definitely an attractive feature for me.

IF this sim/game actually sees the light of day, I may seriously consider purchase/etc.
