Hello!
I would like to ask someone to clarify the error attached below. It occurs when the emergency brake is applied but the throttle is still on the acceleration gear. The locomotive goes into a skid and near the end of the stop (which is a slip) I get this error. Thank you!

If you turn off advanced adhesion, does it still crash?

So, thank you very much for your involvement and to answer the suggestion made, if I disable advanced adhesion I don't have this crash. So until (maybe) I figure out what I did wrong I'll leave the advanced adhesion box unchecked.

Now that we have isolated the issue, I am hoping the author of The advanced adhesion code will have a look at the crash.

I can't see anything obvious at the moment at the lines indicated. I also can't see the problem with my test stock. To fault find this I will need to recreate the fault in my development environment.

Can you confirm whether you are able to get the NS CTN stock to produce the same error? If you can't, can you send me the ENG file that you are using, and describe the exact operations that are causing you issues.

Has this issue just happen in the last few days or has it been happening for a few weeks?

Just out of interest why do you want to have the throttle still open when applying Emergency Brakes?

I honestly haven't downloaded the NS CTN to check if the error is occurring. I only ended up ``getting`` this error when, on the material I made/modified I received complaints from users that the stopping time is exaggerated, including in the emergency braking situation. For this reason I have modified the braking parameters according to the indications on ``Coals to Newcastle`` and since then this phenomenon appears. I suspect, that the braking force is much too high - I repeat this deliberately done to get stop times comparable to those in reality - but I did not expect the error I am talking about to occur. The fact that the locomotive slides in is basically the consequence of the inadequate brake force dosage from the brake tap opening, Why did I have the throttle still open? Time saving reasons. Wanting to eliminate the long loading - at first - and closing - at the end - times of the simulator and wanting to do as many tests as possible in a relatively short time with my various brake settings, I would directly apply the emergency brake and only then start reducing the throttle. The second reason was that - in my opinion - by still applying engine torque to the wheel, maybe the braking force was not enough to lead to wheel lock-up and therefore skidding.
These are just my theoretical considerations, so they may not be true. And ultimately even braking with the locomotive brakes at full throttle does this. If I dose the opening of the brake valve so that no slip occurs, the error does not occur. I would also say that I carry out these brake tests on a straight line, at the end of which the line is sunken. There is no deviation unless I stop at the end of the line and change direction, at which point I have the possibility to deviate to other open lines. Find this type of line section, I basically accelerate so that the locomotive catches up as quickly as possible with the speed of 100 km/h and then start braking to get into the buffers at the end of the line.
