Just a quick question - does ORTSLocomotiveDriveWheelOnlyBraking ( 1 ) belong in the wag part of the eng file or the eng part of the eng file?

For me this is in the .ENG section of the locomotives. ( I don't remember where this info came from, so not 100% sure... )

Living up to my tag line here....how is this used in OR, purpose in real world? Never heard it mentioned in the forum 'till this post.

It is for steam locomotives. Many steam locos, especially British locos, only had brakes on the driving wheels and not on the leading or trailing wheels. The effect is mainly visual if you go into a wheel skid then only the driving wheels should lock up, those without brakes should continue to rotate. Possibly it may be replaced with something more sophisticated when they finish pottering around with the code for adhesion.

Helllo
Is there any available reference for all the available eng/wag params that exist and are functional in OR?
I ask this because I thought myself quite well versed with the parameters, but this is the first time that I have come across this one!
Thanks

Of course: there is a spreadsheet with 2000+ parameters, regularly updated. Managed by RR1
Wait for me to look for a link, please.

Helllllo :)
Thank you for sharing!
However, as I anticipated, this parameter is not documented in the list :(
Seems like the list was last updated in Feb 22...although the file seems to have been refreshed as late as March 23

Now i googled and found a reference on Coals to Newcastle site! Will spend some hours re-educating myself and updating my Eng & Wag files after this :)

Since it's being updated constantly... Maybe the link is already within "Links" section.
