Thought you ought to know...when using the auto-updater I got the following message when updating to U2023.10.21-2137. The same thing happened when I manually installed the latest unstable version directly from the ORTS website...

What gives?

Looks like the changes in PR #884 (build: Additional settings for dotnet build) caused this, so I've taken it out of the Unstable Version.

You'll have to download the latest Unstable Version directly since this affected the updater itself.

Still an issue. Thought it might have been fixed over the last weekend, but no. Will the updater be fixed in the first November update?

With respect, that version is a month old!
The latest is Open.Rails.T1.5.1-684-gc6e0de1c4 (published yesterday), which seems to run without a problem.

Cheers,
Ged

Well, version shown above is what is in the link from James' post. Now that I look at it, it was from a previous release, so I'll look for the latest.

You are suffering for a completely different issue. Perhaps you have another copy of Open Rails running still? Check Task Manager even if you can't see any windows, as it is occasionally possible for something to get stuck running without being visible.
