I GUESS, that's about different allowed speeds for freight and passenger trains, passing the same stretch.

Maybe a "future" setting that was never implemented.

Hi
So how did you set the passenger trains speed set to 70 mph and freight to 50 mph?
In the Trk file or activity or where?
Thanks

In the TRK you will see the overall route's maximum speed shown as :Speed limit ( 31.2928 ) is the one showing in the route I'm working on right now. The value is meters per second I believe, this translates to 70 mph. In the DAR route it's ( 53.6448 ), that's 125 mph as I have a track that's a "flight path" for aircraft to do 125 mph. The track speed for the trains is set to 60 for passenger, 50 for freight, but in several places that changes to 50 for both, and 50 passenger and 40 freight, plus 15 for both through yards.

I realize now, these "rule sets" are definitely something different.
But it's still courious to know, what those settings do.

my point is sometimes it's not just the speed of the route as designed but the consists that you run on the route!!!!
