Hi All,
Automatic Firing of steam locos is the default setting and <Ctrl+F> may be pressed to switch between Automatic and Manual Firing.

There's no screen display to indicate which has been selected. Is there an easy way to discover which is in operation (short of listening for the shovelling!)?

It's active when you see the lines "Boiler water level (glass)", "Boiler water level (boiler)" and "Fire mass" appear in the HUD

But yes, a notification would possibly be a nice addition.

I agree that a notification would be useful, especially for inexperienced users.
