Historically, I've had no issues with the MSTS Exporter for S files...

I've noticed on my most recent export from Blender 3.6 LTS that my bogies don't work. No wheel spin etc.

But my collection looks right, and it otherwise exports and works in the SIM.

any ideas?

Aren't the wheels supposed to be called WHEELS11, WHEELS12 etc

WHEELSxx are autoanimated by the sim , used on bogies etc

WHEELxx are the ones that you have to manually animate in Blender, such as loco driver wheels.

PS Edit - this error prone naming convention was inherited from MSTS ... not my fault :-)

Don't feel too bad about this dorky error. It has happened to me so many times that I now keep a little .txt file handy to jog my memory. Either that or I look at another working model to remember the structure. I am not doing models all the time, so months can go by before I get interested again (summer months are too hot for big desktops in this place!). Suddenly you have to relearn and remember all the "gotcha's" when you hit the old Blender again.

Well, I'm always trying to learn new things... so I suffer from POKE-PLOP Syndrome... where I POKE new stuff into memory and some older stuff PLOPS out.

In goes the new and out goes the old! Only way for old brains to make room in all the clouded memory from over all the years.

I've got the same problem but it's garbage in garbage out.
