Hello there,

I've been more and more interested in the project and contributing to it.
Because I would like to see linux compatibility in the long run, I've started porting the launcher and even the main menu over to .NET6 and AvaloniaUI to get more platform independence. As I'm still unfamiliar with the code base, i chose to contribute far away from the core classes.

Pull request: https://github.com/o...nrails/pull/848

I know that this is a large change which has implications to the whole project. How could something like this be merged at some point?

Greetings
LaT3St

Hello. And welcome.
I'd suggest You to see David Webb's posts about his progress in Linux adaptation, and Perpetual Kid's openrails branch, already running on .Net6
