Thanks, Nick. The patch is now included in the downloadable ORNYMG 143.2. Note that saves with 143.1 won't resume with 143.2.

Diesel Mechanical Transmissions now crash on save and resume. Example logs attached.

Thanks for reporting. I uploaded a fix to the unstable release. Please report any further bugs when restoring, I had to perform some changes that may break the restore process in some subsystems.

Please test with something different to a trailer car. As far as I know restore was never implemented for trailer cars.

Edit: I uploaded a fix for trailer cars to https://github.com/o...nrails/pull/846 but for some reason, the commit is not listed there. However, it appears in my personal repository: https://github.com/c...sume-initialize
This looks like a bug at GitHub, does anyone know what's happening?

Resume from save with diesel mechanical control trailers was established in September 2022. Resume works perfectly with this train set in version U2022.10.07-1324 I will try to work out at which later version it has become broken.

Resume with a locomotive does work in yesterday's unstable update.

Don't worry about trailer cars. The fix is really simple, but it doesn't appear at GitHub. I'll re-upload it again to see if that works.
