In yesterday's unstable, when switching to a reversed steam locomotive at the rear of the train, and applying reverser forward "i.e. moving in opposite direction of original travel", the smoke direction still follows that of original travel.
Note: this was in timetable mode

Well, whenever you turn on video capture it doesn't reproduce :). I'll keep an eye out and go thru a few other scenarios over the weekend, but it doesn't seem consistently happening
The other thing could be the wind intensity & direction in timetable mode. This seems randomly chosen?? At the start of the simulation and remains mostly fixed. It may have been lined up such that the smoke was being blown by the wind downwind producing the visual effect of the smoke being blown the wrong way
