I have problems by keeping max speed for some of my consists. The value of MaxVelocity in both the .con and .eng files are correct. I have testet 26 consists. The 9 of them stops accelerate when max velocity is reached even if I keep full throttle. The last 17 consists continue accelerating besides the MaxVelocity. I would like all my consists to keep MaxVelocity. Any idea to help me.

This sounds unusual. Could you attach some of the .con and .eng files for consists and locomotives that do not work and then maybe someone can look at the problem.

Hello.
The problem is that there is a 40m/s limit in the consist file. Which corresponds to a speed of 144 km/h. The MaxVelocity ( ) line of the con file needs to be fixed. The following is a good value: MaxVelocity ( 55.55555 1.00000 ).
In the eng file, find the MaxVelocity ( ) line. If the data there is given in kmh, then divide it by 3.6. The result will be m/s. This should be the first value of MaxVelocity.
You can use the downloadable Metric Converter for corrections.
Sincerely, Laci1959
Ps I always check the value of the different consist editors

I have three more consists eng where the settings seems to be correct but the maxvelocity is exceeded. Could you please check them.

Good, but I need a list of which consist I should set to which speed.
File name >> speed km/h
FCS 218 260-8 Solo Bugsering >> 140km/h is this correct?

Hello.
I looked through it and matched the files. These settings are fine. The speed value in each consist file is the same as the value specified in the eng file.
Sincerely, Laci1959

Now I have discovered that all my consists with electric engines keeps the maxvelocity speed when reached but none of my consists with diesel engines do that they just keep on accelerate even when the settings in both the .eng and .con file are correct. Are there any explanation for this and how can I keep the maxvelocity on diesel engines.
