A tool to calculate values for dynamic brakes, I included both the older MSTS settings and the newer brake curve settings. Only with MSTS settings (the upper part) you will have working cabview indicators and defineable speeds for train brake cut-in.

To get the resistor limit/ampere rating correct please take a look at your cabview indicators, just like you can see in the screenshot.
