I have what I consider a unusual problem. Two of us are checking a particular riute on separate systems. We are both using the latest version on the "Unstable" OR. We are running the same activity and the same route, as downloaded by GitHub Desktop. What is unusual is that, when completed, we are both getting OpenRailsLog.txt files with different content. Can anyone offer any advice or suggestions as to why this is happening.

Hello.
Different system configurations and different files in particular routes.

Can you upload the two files?

I think this is a false alarm. I am the originator of the route in question, the Chilterns, and it is my OR log file which apparently did not coincide with dforrest's log although we were both running the same activity on the same latest unstable version of OR. The problem seems to have arisen because whereas David ran the activity to completion, I did not, stopping it shortly after starting. It seems that I did not give OR enough time to find the same content as David did. When I finally did run the activity to completion our two logs coincided as expected.

The particular content in the log files concerned that David refers to is a number of Warnings about track nodes that cannot be found. I have posted separately about this issue in the "Maybe it's a bug" forum.

I apologize to David and to Jonas for having wasted their time!

Martin
