Is it possible to merge two routes using TSRE only.
And if it is, has anyone ever done a step-by-step tutorial?

Hello.
I've read, Goku (TSRE's father) have done that operation with two polish routes successfully.
It's essential for tiles to match, bwhat is very rare case, IMO.
You can try to make a copy of one of routes, then add there World and Tiles folders from another route and see in editor, how it looks then.
Plus, there need to be present all shapes and textures from the second route too.

I've a question on TSRE5 as well. Can you do a mass replace of ojects? Let's say I wanted to change one type of tree that is on the route with another type of tree for the whole route? Replace all Spruce trees on a route with ponderosa pine trees for an example.
Thank you,
Phil

In TSRE I did individual object replacement, by typing another valid shape name into name field at the left-side editor toolbar.
Principally, uncompressed *.w-files may be edited by any text editor, so You may select one *.s-file name and replace it with another in entire file, but this will be for single *.w-file per time.
