A few recent ORTS videos from my version of the Hamilton Norfolk route. I had some of them posted over at Trainsim but figured I would post them here as well. First is a c.1987 loaded coal train using 109 individual hoppers of the NAVS and TS variety. Plenty of different paint schemes as would have been seen during that time period. Second is a 100+ car mixed manifest from a little later c.1992. The first video is unedited from the sim, the second has a VHS filter applied.

Thanks guys. Yes the Ruel trees and vegetation are really something else they really added a whole new level of realism to the sim. Supposedly, TS will be doing a version of Sandpatch in the future, I’m eager to see what else they develop with the trees and vegetation.

Very well done! Those sounds are killer! Also it was quite funny that in your second video, the train stalled.

Thanks the loco sounds are TS and Ron Furto’s U-Series sounds and the rolling stock is TS/NAVS 2.5. Also running OR 1.5, I’m a big fan of the squeal at low speeds and curves in the latest release.

As for the stall, I had a light brake application on coming down the hill before this grade and forgot to fully release.

It's times like these I'm glad I expanded the number of flange squeal samples in the last release - it would have sounded awful repetitive with the older versions. Cool videos.
