Hello Folks
A train is piggybacked by a diesel locomotive (D loco + E loco + Coach arrangement) undergoes diesel loco attachment process before entering a diesel section in any given scenario. E locos are to be powered off manually using F9 window, selecting the appropriate car and shutting down. Are there any possibilities of triggering the same through an event so that the electric loco gets shut down automatically/ applies brakes upon crossing the event location? If yes, Pls guide as to how it is done.

Hello.
I'm afraid, not yet, as ORTS lets e-locos to function even upon non-electrified routes now.
