It's September 26, 1948, K-37s # 493 and 494 depart Salida at 7 AM with 11 passenger cars. The numbers of the cars were not shown, as was the name of the group that was on the train (it was not the Rocky Mountain Railroad Club, as they had their trip the previous weekend).

Crew: Conductor D Young, Engineer Hyatt for the 493, and Engineer C D Wilson for the 494.

The train nears Marshall Pass.

Soon, the train rolls into Marshall Pass at 8:35 AM.

After the 493 was uncoupled and went back to Salida, the 494 and it's train depart Marshall Pass at 8:45 AM and begins to roll downhill.
