FOSDEM is a free event for software developers to meet, share ideas and collaborate.
Every year, thousands of developers of free and open source software from all over the world gather at the event in Brussels.
For 2023, the event has been extended to provide a topic on "Railways and Open Transport" which is described as:

* Geo software, mapping tracks, stations, routing
* Accessibility assistants for travellers

Although Open Rails received an invitation to present a paper on "Railways and Open Transport", it was received with apologies just yesterday and the deadline for submitting an abstract of the paper is today ! Much too short to find a topic and a speaker. Perhaps for 2024?
I wonder if any of our members would like to attend (it's free) and perhaps tell us a bit about it?
