A few years ago I made a powerful application for inspecting objects and maintaining an inventory that allows them to be managed along the routes I design.
This application was made in VB.Net using Visual Studio and incorporating the trainlib.ocx tool provided by Paul Gaussden, who provided me with all the necessary information to use it in my project.
Thanks to your help I was able to build a .dll object that perfectly handled object display for Train Simulator and OR.
Now I have returned to take up this project since my retirement begins.
But now I am unable to use trainlib.ocx in Visual Studio. It is successfully registered in sysWOW64 via regrvr32 with no errors, it does not appear in the list of COM tools nor does it allow adding to it by manually selecting the .ocx file.
I've tried everything, I've been trying for several weeks without success.
Curiously, in Visual Studio 2008 it does appear in the COM list and it can be used, so I guess it's a problem with the new versions of Visual Studio.
Can any of you help me?... I haven't known how to contact Paul for a long time.
I attach screenshots of the application so you can see how it is working now.
Thanks for your help.
