According to Robert Dubits at the Facebook group "Pre1895 Railroads & Steam Locomotives"
LEHIGH was built by New Jersey Locomotive & Machine Co in Jan 1855 for the Delaware Lackawanna & Western. It was designed by Zerah Colburn to burn anthracite coal.

1:40 to 2:20 is impressive especially!
Thank for efforts.
You know, Frank...
I think about asking Tom for crew models for such "transparent" cockpit.
Without driver and fireman its movement looks very odd.
Models are more and more good!

FWIW,
One colleague, who seen that video have noticed, that wheels a bit sunk below rails surface.

I realized that this morning while I was going over some of the models in Shape Viewer, but thanks for bringing to my attention.

Great to see all these new 19th century models, Frank! :thumbup3: :thumbup3:

have you seen this photo? It's from the US National Parks Archives and aside from it's crappy condition, has several clear views of details

I tried to approximate the details in the image. Since I was working on an H&BT camel i incorporated them into that. I will probably use thei one to model B&O 80

I bought a book on the H&BT but it hasn;t arrived yet, I used the name of one of the towns on the main stem from wikipedia opr something. Still needs tweaking.
