Ok, so short story long.
The street and sidewalk were done two different ways.

The street on the left was done by painting the brick texture on the 4096 terrtex after sizing them correctly (close anyway).

Then you paint it in TSRE so it blends in with the surroundings.

The sidewalk is a transfer.

Much easier to use but it won't follow the contour of the land.
