I was reading the RGS story vol xi the other day, and on page 251 was a picture of DRGW 453 leaving Durango for Silverton on June 12 1945 with 2 stock cars a box car a combine and caboose a photo taken by Otto C Perry

created a near enough representation of this train in Open Rails using the RGS route that has trackage for a few miles north from Durango

another mixed in an early summer snowfall with a load of boxcars ,combine and caboose in the 1940s leaving Durango
