Do you mind, I'll try to offer more exact variants?
I will give an explanations in brackets (...) and critical notes in red

File menu:
Open track database
Save processed track database (will be opened much quicker next time) not map itself
Index TSECTION.DAT (accelerates further map drawing) not *.tdb

View menu:
All looks correct

Side panel:
Map items
Gradient (=slope?)
Restricted speed zones (speedposts)

For current moment, I have done everything, that I would.
If something will change, you will know it. :)

Pair words regarding Park term:
this means a group of tracks, having common origins and purpose.
For instance: inbound, outbound, sorting, storing, passenger -parks, etc.
So particular station or yard may contain of some parks.

DocMartin and me are trying to compose better English manual for Mapper.
I'm offering to review and discuss every part of translated Readme file altogether, for producing the best variant of final document.
The draft version is mostly ready, so I present the first part today.
Any of your questions, suggestions, wishes or additions, are able to make the text better, so would be welcome very much here.

The variants of terms may be offered by highlighting with rose color, So please feel free to suggest better ones.

Introduction
The Mapper program is intended for viewing the MSTS route map and saving it as a graphical file of *.png-format.
You can customize the map before saving it, by selecting (picking?choosing?) different colors, hiding or showing particular elements (items?), altering font and size of titles (captions?).
It is also possible to save just a selected rectangular area of the map.

The additional function of this program is providing of various statistic and geographic data of the route, and searching of needed items by some criteria. This would be useful for evaluation and diagnostic tasks.

Features overview
It's possible to index route's track database for further fast map loading.
Once the route's track database (*.tdb-file) is opened (processed), it can be indexed and saved to the Mapper format (*.tdbx)
Then, map loading can be done by opening the *.tdbx file, and that will be much faster than loading *.tdb

To adjust Your map's design,
- Selective display of the route objects and auxiliary elements of a map is available.
- The colors of map elements, as well as size coefficients (relative size) for text of station names, kilometric signs (mileposts), and track grades can be customized.
