This problem occurs on both stable and weekly testing version of OR.
Well, I'm having some difficulties lowering a locomotive in OR.
When I modify a locomotive's shape matrices (As detailed here - https://msts.steam4m...heels_down.html) to position it down on the track, it shows up fine in Shape Viewer.
However, OR ignores the modified matrices entries and the locomotive floats. (The additional parts are at the correct height, that's why they appear sunken in.)
The locomotive is attached to the post.

If this is not a bug, how do I go about lowering a locomotive or car that rides too high so it displays properly in Open Rails?
Edit: The Reason I do not use the Shift Function in Shape File Manager is because I've found that it sometimes causes wheels to end up rotating off-center.

Is the file supplied by you the original or one that you have already modified ? What did you lower ? The " body " , The " bogies " or both ?
I use SFM to alter shapes but the bogies on this one only move slightly - - don't know why yet !
BTW - - Who did that model and does it run in MSTS or a previous ORTS version ? What mods did you do to it ?

1. I lowered the entire body. Since the bogies are tied to the body, they get lowered too. The modified shape is the one attached to the post.
2. This is a Danny Back model, with some slight modifications, (danny_beck_sp_files_set.zip at Train-Sim is what contains this GP38-2 shape.) which works fine in both MSTS and ORTS, though I have yet to test this shape in MSTS due to installation issues.
