I was going to say, backup moves in F-units are pretty hard without this.

Speaking of the camera, was the fix to the #2 and #3 camera pivot made permanent as was suggested when the build that corrected it came out? I have been holding out on updating OR for fear that it reverted back to the couplers.

It's still centered on the origin in 1.3.1-308 and NewYear MG Rev. 92 (which is what I'm up to right now)

Carlo, I'm sure you've got other priorities than camera but I'll ask anyway: Have you looked at the specification I gave Chris for camera sets? The idea behind it is to allow 1 to 10 cameras per set and have each set created for a specific point of view, most likely matching the current camera purposes. So for the player locomotive that could provide all the current cab view locations plus front and rear coupler. So it could be something like <ALT>S (sets) 1 to go to the default or last used camera of set 1 and then keys 1, 2... 0 to move around within the set. It's not a perfect specification but it makes it pretty clear most of what is needed.

Hi Dave,
this is quite a complex operation. And in general I prefer not to refactor working features, even if they might have some limitations as they are now, sorry.

This change was applied to both forks some months ago and is permanent.

Excellent, I'm glad this is the case. I haven't been keeping up on the more recent builds as I am in the last semester of grad school and I am almost completely overwhelmed.

:-( I liked the coupler-centric view.

Yep, me too. Oh Well. I always wanted OR to implement a camera config...so I could save a camera view configuration and then anytime I used that view it would present my config. It has been discussed but no action so far.
