Good day.
A few years ago, when I was running the "Downtown Trolley" route, I detected that there was a shape that I could see in MSTS, but not in ORTS. If my memory serves, it was a static PCC green car.
For some reason, at the time, I didn't give the problem much thought.
But today I detected the same problem with two shapes: AU_gumtree14 and AU_gumtree15. I see them in MSTS but I don't see them in Open Rails. The log does not report any error.

If you provide a download link for the shapes, maybe someone can have a check. Else it is impossible to try to help you.

I have just downloaded that pack and installed it in to a fresh route. I had an initial problem seeing all the trees in TSRE as the first tree in the REF file has a class of "AU Vegetation" and all the others have a class of "AU_Vegetation". Once I had all the Class names the same, I could see and place all the trees in a route using TSRE and then see all the trees in ORTS 1.3.1 and a 6 month old experimental version.
Gumtree 14 and 15 in the front rows and remaining trees to the rear.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Marek.

Being the shapes older than ORTS, I do not think that the fact that they were placed with the MSTS route editor has affected them. I never used the TSRE, I am still afraid of it. I am still using the MSTS route editor. I am clueless as to where my mistake is.
